SB-01

Polyester monofilament sample collection bag for KISTERS bedload samplers (BLSH, BLS30 & BLS48). The SB-01 is designed for use with KISTERS bedload samplers and forms an integral part of the sampling system for bedload transport measurements. The robust monofilament mesh with a 0.2 mm opening size provides reliable retention of sampled material while maintaining high water permeability.

The sample bag is fitted over the outlet of the sampler head and securely fastened with a clamping strap. This ensures that only sediment entering through the sampler intake is collected and that no sample material is lost. At the rear end, the bag is fitted with a metal eyelet that attaches to the sampler support hook. This keeps the bag fully extended during sampling, prevents collapse or twisting of the collection section and thus ensures unrestricted water flow.

The design offers high abrasion resistance, negligible water absorption and a long service life under demanding field conditions. The SB-01 is suitable both as a replacement and as a spare bag for sediment monitoring programmes and hydrometric field measurements.
